About Me

Joseph ‘JPOC’ Comeau is from Saint John, New Brunswick. Although he has been shooting for over 10 years. He is a 2016 graduate from the Photography Diploma at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton.

He is a well-known photojournalist/fire scene photographer on local online citizen journalism sites, and to Fire Departments in South Eastern New Brunswick. Also, he is the founder of Saint John Newschaser where his work is viewed by over 40,000 members, and featured in the media including the Telegraph Journal, Post Gazette, CHSJ News, CTV, CBC, and Global TV. ​ He accepts commissions for photojournalism, event and product photography from individuals and regional businesses across the Maritimes.

His last major endeavor was working as an Civilian Canadian Forces Imagery Technician at Tactics School, 5th Canadian Division Support Group Gagetown.
